This page is intended to present a general overview of the range of external medical related services that are available around the Gosford area to residents of our village. It will probably be of most use to new or prospective residents who might be unfamiliar with the area. It should not be taken as a complete picture of the services that are available due to changes that will take place from time to time.

General Practitioners
The nearest and most convenient GP practice is located in the small shopping centre at Saratoga. There are many other GP practices in surrounding areas. 

There are several large walk in clinics in the broader Gosford area where a GP can be accessed with no appointment necessary, it just means a wait of perhaps an hour or so until a GP is free to see a casual patient. One such clinic is in the large Erina Fair Shopping Mall which is accessible by our village bus as well as public transport, while another is at West Gosford which is accessible by private transport only.

Allied Health Services
There is a full range of allied health services in nearby areas such as physiotherapy, podiatry, chiropractic, dental technician, skin cancer, etc.

Dental and Chemist
The nearby shopping centre at Saratoga has a dental practice and a chemist shop.
The chemist shop provides a very high level of service to residents of our village. A collection box is located in our Community Centre and chemist staff will empty this daily, filled prescriptions and medicines are then later delivered back to residents in their homes. The chemist shop will also hold prescriptions and automatically fill them and deliver medicines to residents if they wish. Of course you can chose to hold your own prescriptions and call into the shop in the usual manner.
There are many other dental and chemist services within reasonable distance from our village.

Specialist Medical Services
There is a good range of medical specialists which can be accessed within the broader Gosford area. There are also several day surgery facilities.

Imaging and Pathology
Pathology and imaging services are readily available. Your GP practice will be able to direct you to these services.

Hospitals
Gosford has a large teaching public hospital near the CBD and there is a large private hospital at Gosford North. A second private hospital is under construction near the public hospital. These facilities provide a full range of services.

Surrounding districts also have a range of private and public hospitals.

Further afield, the Sydney suburban Royal North Shore Hospital is accessible by train from Gosford via Hornsby.
